My new story.

Hi guys,

Today I'm sharing a story I just started writing. I haven't come up with a name yet but I do have ideas. It's about a girl named Willow who learns she has powers but she's in danger. I hope you like what I have written so far.

Introduction

A car swerved onto a busy sidewalk, screams filled the air as a lone girl was hit. Her name was Willow. At that moment her life was about to change forever.

Story

I awoke to the sound of a constant beep, I heard talking coming from the end of my bed. I looked up, a woman with hazel eyes and sunny blonde hair dressed in scrubs looked back. She helped me sit up. " How are you doing?" the woman asked. " I'm nurse Everly." I gazed at her kind gentle smile. " I ache all over." I croaked, feeling the pain. I couldn't speak easily. The door opened with a creak, a man dressed in a white coat entered the room. He spoke to the nurse then turned to me. " Do your parents know where you are?" He asked, only he didn't know. " I have no parents, I'm an orphan who lives on the street." I replied calmly, choking on the word orphan, I started to cry. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder and I was told to lie down. They whisked me away. An hour later I started to wake up, I heard new voices. " She has powers I can feel it, and they're strong." the voice said. "We will kidnap her after she gets out of the hospital." the other replied. I froze still looking asleep. I thought it over, I have powers, but I'm in danger. They left, the nurse came in, I opened my eyes and spoke. " Are they gone?" Everly replied. "Yes, I heard the whole conversation. Did you?" " Yes, I'm scared." I cowered in the covers. She comforted me, she whispered. " I have powers too." Then she left the room.

I hope you enjoyed reading my story,
Dancing Tween.

Book Review- To Kill a Mockingbird

Hi guys, Today I'm going to be doing a book review on the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Did I enjoy it?  YES! I really enjoyed reading this book, it was a good story and really made me think. This book is pretty thick and I read it starting in or around the month of January and I just finished on Tuesday. I really wanted to keep reading every time I put it down.  This book is a classic and was originally published in 1960. This book has two parts and is 31 chapters long.  This book uses a bad word frequently so if you don't understand or you're younger make sure you know that word is unacceptable. The Main Characters The main characters are Jean-Louise Finch (also called Scout)and Jem Finch. They appear the most in the book. This book was told in first person point of view. (Told by Scout) My Rating I give this book 4 and a half stars. It's a very good book to read, I truly recommend this book. I hope you enjoyed reading this book review. ...

My New Year's Resolutions for 2019

Happy New Year!          Sorry for my extremely long break. School has been busy, and I never really had any ideas. But now I am (hopefully) back and ready to post. Well, let's get started with my resolutions!          My first resolution is to eat healthier. I will admit, I eat a lot of junk food, but this year (and beyond) I want to cut back on sugar and make it a habit to eat more fruits and vegetables.          My next resolution is to grow and improve as a dancer, that means work really hard in class, work on increasing my flexibility, and learning and teaching my self new moves, as well as making better choreography. I also have fun and exciting news! I'm taking a ballet exam this year! It was one my goals this school/dance year.          Another resolution is to read more books. I like to read but I haven't really read ...

Summer Dance Practice Tips!

Hi guys, Sorry I haven't been posting for 4 weeks. I have had the end of dance, school and my family went on vacation. So with all that aside, let's begin.  Today, I am going to be sharing some tips on getting summer dance practice in. My dance starts in September and ends in June so I have the whole summer off. I also start again most times a level higher. So here is some advice to help you  practice all summer break.  1. Stretching and conditioning      One thing you can do is stretch and keep your body strong. I own a yoga mat so I use it regularly to stretch and warm up if I am practicing, choreographing or doing improv. I am also doing pushups daily to work on strength. This is a good tip to boost your skills next year.  2. Improv  I improv on a regular basis. If you don't know what improv is it's freely dancing to music, it's not choreographed. I find this helps me with musicality and feeling happy. It helps when I'm choreogra...
