Book Review- To Kill a Mockingbird

Hi guys,

Today I'm going to be doing a book review on the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

Did I enjoy it?  YES!

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was a good story and really made me think. This book is pretty thick and I read it starting in or around the month of January and I just finished on Tuesday. I really wanted to keep reading every time I put it down.  This book is a classic and was originally published in 1960. This book has two parts and is 31 chapters long.  This book uses a bad word frequently so if you don't understand or you're younger make sure you know that word is unacceptable.

The Main Characters

The main characters are Jean-Louise Finch (also called Scout)and Jem Finch. They appear the most in the book. This book was told in first person point of view. (Told by Scout)

My Rating

I give this book 4 and a half stars. It's a very good book to read, I truly recommend this book.

I hope you enjoyed reading this book review. Have an amazing day,
The Dancing Tween.

End of Summer Reflection

Hey Guys,            It's September, (sad face) and I start school tomorrow. Today is my last day of Summer. Today I am going to be reflecting on my 2018 summer break. Mostly I'm covering what I completed on my bucket list. Here are the things I completed on my bucket list: 1. Go shopping at Claire's accessories - Completed on the second last week of July. 2.  Post a lot more - I'd say I did really well on posting at least once a week, sometimes I even posted twice. 3. Cut my hair - I did this on the 31st of July. 4. Cook almost every or every week - I successfully did this pretty much every week. 5. The things about dance - I practiced a bit and stretched a little bit, but I have some great ideas for choreography. 6. Visit a local farmers market - I didn't visit the one I wanted to, but we went to another several times to buy corn, fruit, and fudge. I really didn't do much this summer, but I went to some family eve...

Short Stories

Hey Guys, Long time no see! Happy holidays! I have been busy for a while and now that it's winter break I can blog more. I probably won't be following a posting schedule so my posts will be at random times on random days. I might, might  do a Christmas gift haul so stay tuned. Without further ado lets get started. Today I'm going to share two short stories I wrote doing a prompt a day. I wrote these stories on the 20th and 21st of December. I got these prompts from the seventh sanctum writing prompt generator linked  here . Enjoy!  Story 1: Prompt: The river is her friend. We never really understood Sadie. She was just different. I never really understood her until we became friends.  Sadie was only at school Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We never knew why. Sadie was alone all of the time, I was her only friend or so I thought. Sadie approached me on a gloomy Monday morning. "Rory, meet me after school down by the river. Don't not come." she said and...
