A Short Story

Summer Dance Practice Tips!

Hi guys, Sorry I haven't been posting for 4 weeks. I have had the end of dance, school and my family went on vacation. So with all that aside, let's begin.  Today, I am going to be sharing some tips on getting summer dance practice in. My dance starts in September and ends in June so I have the whole summer off. I also start again most times a level higher. So here is some advice to help you  practice all summer break.  1. Stretching and conditioning      One thing you can do is stretch and keep your body strong. I own a yoga mat so I use it regularly to stretch and warm up if I am practicing, choreographing or doing improv. I am also doing pushups daily to work on strength. This is a good tip to boost your skills next year.  2. Improv  I improv on a regular basis. If you don't know what improv is it's freely dancing to music, it's not choreographed. I find this helps me with musicality and feeling happy. It helps when I'm choreographing as well w
