My Summer Bucket List - Part 1

 Hey Guys,

Today I will be sharing my summer bucket list! My last day of school was on June 28th, I haven't really done much so far and it's been really really hot. But I have some great plans to do before school starts back up again in September. My mom actually inspired me to do this post because she asked me for some things I want to do over the summer, thanks Mom! I will be giving a brief explanation for each thing. Without further ado, let's get started with part 1.

1. Do another ropes course - I did a ropes course last year up at my cottage and it was really fun, I would love to do another one, the one I did on a school camp trip recently was terrible. I want to do either the same one as last year or a different one.

2. Go shopping at Claire's - I don't have a Claire's store that close to where I live and I could of only gone on weekends during the school year. I also have gift cards, so that's another reason to go.

3. Go to a local farmer's market - There's this really popular farmer's market a half an hour drive from my house and I have never been. Plus it's hard to go during the school year since it's only open twice a week, but in the summer it's open 3 times a week. I look forward to going.

4. Post a lot more! - So my posting schedule has been a little weird lately, once a month sort of (not since May.) But I have a lot more time on my hands so I will try to post weekly at least. Plus some exciting news, so stay tuned until the end of the post!

5.  Work on organizing/redecorating my room - My room is basically an organized mess, if that makes sense, and the paint on the walls is from when I was little. It's a very pale pink, my favourite colour (Not.) I'm probably going to paint my room a grayish-white and I haven't figured out a colour scheme yet for my decor.

6. Improve my ballet - I really want to take a ballet exam this year, because I have never taken one for ballet. I am going to be doing my second year of the same level. Over the summer I want to work on some syllabus work, my pirouettes and I want to work on flexibility and strength.

Now it's time for my announcement........

You can now call me N! Since the name "The Dancing Tween" doesn't fit my blog anymore, calling me "Dancing Tween" won't work either. I will also be giving my blog a new name. I have a few names in mind but I haven't come up with the perfect one yet.

Well that's all for today! Stay tuned for part two.

See you later!

My New Year's Resolutions for 2019

Happy New Year!          Sorry for my extremely long break. School has been busy, and I never really had any ideas. But now I am (hopefully) back and ready to post. Well, let's get started with my resolutions!          My first resolution is to eat healthier. I will admit, I eat a lot of junk food, but this year (and beyond) I want to cut back on sugar and make it a habit to eat more fruits and vegetables.          My next resolution is to grow and improve as a dancer, that means work really hard in class, work on increasing my flexibility, and learning and teaching my self new moves, as well as making better choreography. I also have fun and exciting news! I'm taking a ballet exam this year! It was one my goals this school/dance year.          Another resolution is to read more books. I like to read but I haven't really read a lot lately. I do sometimes read at school, but at home I barely read. I spend a lot and I mean a LOT of time on technology, which of c

Book Review- To Kill a Mockingbird

Hi guys, Today I'm going to be doing a book review on the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Did I enjoy it?  YES! I really enjoyed reading this book, it was a good story and really made me think. This book is pretty thick and I read it starting in or around the month of January and I just finished on Tuesday. I really wanted to keep reading every time I put it down.  This book is a classic and was originally published in 1960. This book has two parts and is 31 chapters long.  This book uses a bad word frequently so if you don't understand or you're younger make sure you know that word is unacceptable. The Main Characters The main characters are Jean-Louise Finch (also called Scout)and Jem Finch. They appear the most in the book. This book was told in first person point of view. (Told by Scout) My Rating I give this book 4 and a half stars. It's a very good book to read, I truly recommend this book. I hope you enjoyed reading this book review.

My Summer Bucket List Part 2

Hey Guys, Here is part 2 of my summer bucket list. It is almost August so my summer is almost half over! Anyways, without further ado, let's get started. 1. Choreograph something mature/ just in general - So I've been taking a little break from choreographing since May-ish, I have some ideas and I am choreographing something currently to the song "To Build a Home" by the Cinematic Orchestra. I also have an idea for a post about choreography. 2. Discover myself - My goal is that by the end of the summer I can know myself a little bit more. I want to eat healthier, be a lot more confident with my style and myself,  be a bit more flexible and discover new ways of moving my body through dance. 3. Cook every week or almost - So I've cooked almost every week of the summer so far and I really want to continue it for the rest of the summer. It gives my parents a break from cooking as well. 4. Spend less time on Youtube - I watch a lot of Youtube and I
